Lea Ann has worked in the print world in a handful of capacities. She has been working with cookbook publications since 2013 primarily focused on customer service. Prior to that she managed a print music department for 11 years. An avid reader when time allows, she also enjoys writing stories and has written blogs including several for Cookbook Specialists. Being with a cookbook company is a natural fit for her as her grandmothers and mother taught her a variety of cooking techniques. They had a history of being school cooks, and one grandmother was a cook on a tugboat on the Mississippi River. With family from the South and Midwest and being of German descent she grew up with a variety of flavors.
When she’s not working on cookbooks Lea Ann spends time in her vegetable and flower gardens and loves sketching and painting. She lives on a small acreage with her husband, son, cats (Moose & Sunny), dog (Cooper) and 9 unruly chickens.
